Has 2013 been good to you so far? Then why not give back a little this Saturday, Feb 2nd at Roxbury Park Free Legal Clinic!
Every second Saturday Barristers provide basic answers to legal questions from the community. This is a great way to meet other attorneys, use your legal skills to benefit those who are in difficult situations and learn more about what we do!
You can become a regular volunteer or just come check out and see how it works – there’s no minimum commitment!
As always, we meet in the community center at Roxbury Park in Beverly Hills (Olympic Blvd and Roxbury Drive). Street parking is available! The program is from 10 am until noon.
We hope you can join us on Saturday!
If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information please feel free to contact co-chairs Brian Smith at email@example.com or Anton Labrentz at anton@MrDuiLa.com.
We’re headed back to Samoshel this Saturday to make homemade Chicken Noodle Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches!
BHBA Barristers head to Samoshel Homeless Shelter in Santa Monica the 2nd Saturday of every month to help prepare food and serve a meal to about 60 of the City’s homeless! If you’ve never been before, come join us! If you have, you know it’s fun, easy and very rewarding!
What: BHBA Barristers Community Outreach Event – Give back to your community and network with other young like-minded professionals!
When: This Saturday, January 12th from 3:00-5:00 pm (you still get your Saturday night!). We start preparing at 3:00 pm and start serving dinner at 4:30 pm or so.
Where: Samoshel Homeless Shelter – 505 Olympic Blvd in Santa Monica, CA 90401.
Why: It’s a great opportunity to network, get a little perspective, develop a connection with the community and make a real difference!
Parking: Pull into the lot out front (we squeeze in as many as possible) or take metered parking on the street (but read the signs!).
Thanks and see you there!
