Barristers Happy Hour is Back! Thompson Hotel – Thurs. Oct. 18th, 6-9
Samoshel – Barristers Community Outreach Event this Saturday, March 10th from 3:00-5:30
This coming Saturday, March 10, 2012, BHBA Barristers and law students from local law schools will cook up and serve a Mardi Gras-inspired meal to nearly 60 homeless residents of the Santa Monica Homeless Shelter (aka Samoshel). Come join us!
Barristers Jeanine Percival Wright, Anton Labrentz and Nick Blesich will plan the meal and buy the food – you just have to show up at 3:00 to help us cook and serve.
The Barristers go to Samoshel the second Saturday of every month from 3:00-5:30.
If you've never been before, we'd love to have you! If you have, you know it's fun, easy and very rewarding! Give back to your community and network with other young like-minded professionals all at the same time. It's a great opportunity to get a little perspective, develop a connection with the community and make a real difference!
Samoshel Homeless Shelter – 505 Olympic Blvd in Santa Monica, CA 90401.
Pull into the lot out front (we squeeze in as many as possible) or take metered parking on the street (but read the signs!).
Come and help out. You’ll be really glad you did!

Barristers Community Outreach Event – Samoshel Homeless Shelter Saturday, Feb. 11th
BHBA Barristers and law students from local law schools cooked up and served a meal for nearly 60 homeless residents of the Santa Monica Homeless Shelter (aka Samoshel) last Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 3:00-5:30.
Barristers Jeanine Percival Wright, Anton Labrentz and Nick Blesich planned the meal, purchased the food, and coordinated our dedicated volunteers.
The Barristers go to Samoshel the second Saturday of every month from 3:00-5:30. They will be there this Saturday, Feb. 11th!
Samoshel Homeless Shelter – 505 Olympic Blvd in Santa Monica, CA 90401.
Pull into the lot out front (we squeeze in as many as possible) or take metered parking on the street (but read the signs!).
Our group usually feeds 50-60 people for about $150. If you can throw in a couple of bucks to help offset the cost of the food, that would be fantastic. But even if you can't, still come and help out. You’ll be really glad you did! And so will we!
