In celebration of Law Day, the Barristers collaborated with LexisNexis in offering free MCLE for attendance at Judge Edmon's discussion on the California State Budget Crisis.
During the Law Day presentation, Judge Edmon offered insight into the the state budget situation, the two-part plan proposed by the Administrative Office, the judicial Budget Working Group’s approach, and the importance of adequate response to the budget crisis to protect access to justice in California. Barristers Annual Vintage Bouquet Food & Wine Extravaganza – A Great Success!
The Beverly Hills Bar Association Barristers are continually impressed by Immediate Past President, Leigh Leshner and her dedicated committee who once again planned and hosting another greatly successful Vintage Bouquet Food and Wine Extravaganza in April 2012!
Since its commencement in 1988, the Vintage Bouquet has become one of the Beverly Hills Bar Association’s premiere events, featuring bites by several of L.A.’s top chefs and tastings by many of California’s premium wineries, along with entertaining live music and fun silent and live auctions.
Most importantly, proceeds of the Vintage Bouquet support charitable contributions made by the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation, including pro bono services, community outreach projects, legal education programs, and access to the justice system.
A sincere thank you to all who volunteered, attended, and donated for this year’s Vintage Bouquet, which may very well have been the most successful Extravaganza so far! For more information on the event, please visit www.vintagebouquet.com. Photos by Jamie Pham Photography.
